Thank You! Thank You!

And thank you again for your support! I humbly appreciate your support for my candidacy to become your Chief Executive Officer of DeKalb County. Your votes encouraged me to begin another journey. While I am not the CEO of DeKalb, my ministry to listen to the people has become even broader.

On this journey, I met so many great people and learned so much. I heard so many stories and became more involved. And because of my love for people, I will continue to listen to the voice of THE PEOPLE. And I will still fight for YOU because I am totally for THE PEOPLE.

Yes, we ran a clean race. And I know that God was with us. Now that my journey for the 2012 campaign is over, a much needed rest is awaiting Jacqueline and I. But before I can rest, I would like to thank my awesome team for doing such a tremendous job in getting my name recognized by the citizens of DeKalb County. Yes, I am disappointed that I didn’t win, but am grateful that I came in 2nd place with 16,000 plus votes, on a shoestring budget of under $5,000 dollars.

I want to again thank everyone especially my family. But to be honest I couldn’t have done it without my Wife-Manager, Jacqueline. I call her “Wifenger.” She did a wonderful job despite not having no experience running a campaign. I have to take my hat off to her.

Keep your ears to the ground and your eyes open because you haven’t seen the last of Gregory Adams, Sr.
